Booking Terms & Conditions
The Griz Inn is managed by Park Vacation Management.
Rates: All rates are per night, based on occupancy indicated, and in Canadian Dollars (unless otherwise stated). Rates are subject to Hotel Room Tax (2% Municipal AHRT), Provincial Hotel Tax (8%) and GST (5%). Total tax rate is 15%. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Deposits & Payment: SKI SEASON: 25% of total package cost is due at time of booking. We cannot guarantee a booking unless a deposit is taken. Ski package lift tickets payable at the time of booking. Travel insurance must be purchased at time of booking. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking. There are to be no changes to the reservation after this date.
NON-SKI SEASON: A credit card guarantee is required to hold a room.
Cancellations: SKI SEASON: There are no refunds or monies paid unless the ski hill is closed. We strongly recommend to our guests that Travel Cancellation Insurance be purchased.
NON-SKI SEASON: Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, guests will be charged for the first night of the booked stay.
Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance and Trip Cancellation Insurance is recommended. Individuals may also be covered through their personal credit cards. Note: Typically, insurance must be purchased at time of booking and there are no refunds. The Insurance Agent we refer to is T.I.C. Guests may contact them directly at 1-800-379-9628 or via the Internet at www.travelinsurance.ca.
Terms of Payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Certified Cheque, Travellers Cheque and Money Orders accepted. All amounts are payable in Canadian Funds.
Occupancy: Occupancy is strictly limited to the number of beds provided in the unit (sleeper sofas included). Violation of this policy may result in termination of guest occupancy with no refund for the unused portion of the stay.
Check-in: In order for us to adequately prepare for the guest's arrival, units will not be available for check-in until 4:00 PM. If units are clean and available earlier, best effort will be made to arrange an earlier check-in.
Checkout: Please be advised that check out time is 11:00 AM. Late check out requests can occasionally be accommodated but must be approved and arranged through our front desk prior to departure day. Keys and parking cards should be left in the unit upon checkout.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping services are provided daily. A full changeover of linens and towels is provided on every third day of the guest's stay.
No Smoking: A very limited number of Griz Inn Units are designated smoking units. All other Griz Inn Units are designated as non-smoking. Any violation of the no smoking policy will result in the loss of guest's security deposit. Smoking is permitted outside on decks and patios.
Pet Policy: A limited number of Griz Inn Units are designated pet friendly units. All other Griz Inn Units are designated as no pets are allowed. Violation of the no pet policy will result in the loss of guest's security deposit and eviction.
Parking: The Griz Inn has ample parking for our guests; a parking pass is required during the winter season. Griz Inn accepts no liability for any fines or towing charges incurred by the guest.
Release of Liability: Park Vacation Management, as the rental management company for Griz Inn, acts as an agent for the individual property owners of each rental unit and accepts no liability on their behalf.
Park Vacation Management will not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, to guest or travelling companions or other group members resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control. This would include, but not be limited to, acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, snow conditions, lift closures, road closures, floods, or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.
Final Note: Park Vacation Management reserves the right to transfer clients to an equivalent accommodation at its discretion, or if the reserved property becomes unavailable, therefore we cannot guarantee specific unit codes at all times. In all cases prior notification will be given to guest, but in some instances may not be possible. The availability of certain properties may change after booking due to circumstances out of our control.
